Remember Lleo, the outrageously wealthy (and obnoxious) character from “Permanent Roommates”? Well, he’s back – and this time, he’s broke! “The Adventures of Lleo” Season 1 throws our favorite (or maybe least favorite?) troublemaker onto the streets, and the results are… well, let’s just say mixed. Is this a laugh-out-loud comedy or a cringe-fest? Let’s unpack Lleo’s latest escapade.

Story
“The Adventures of Lleo” is a spin-off series that follows Lleo after a disastrous financial meltdown. Gone are the days of luxury cars and lavish lifestyles. Now, Lleo is a homeless man, forced to navigate the harsh realities of the street. But fear not, Lleo wouldn’t be Lleo if he didn’t cause chaos wherever he goes. Each episode features a new adventure (or should we say misadventure?), as Lleo interacts with a colorful cast of characters, inevitably leaving a trail of mayhem in his wake.
Review
Lleo is an acquired taste. He’s loud, offensive, and sometimes downright mean. Anandeshwar Dwivedi reprises the role with gusto, perfectly capturing Lleo’s unapologetic attitude. The short format (five mini-episodes) keeps the story from dragging, but the humor can be hit-or-miss. Some jokes land perfectly, leaving you in stitches. Others fall flat, relying on shock value rather than wit.
The real strength of the series lies in its unpredictability. You never quite know what Lleo will do next, and the show throws him into some truly bizarre situations. Watching him interact with unsuspecting victims (or maybe they’re the lucky ones?) can be entertaining, in a morbidly funny way.
Verdict
“The Adventures of Lleo” Season 1 won’t be for everyone. If you’re easily offended or prefer your humor to be on the safe side, this might not be your cup of tea (or should we say, gutter water?). However, if you appreciate edgy humor and enjoy seeing a character completely self-destruct, then Lleo’s misadventures might just tickle your funny bone.
Just be prepared for a bumpy ride – you might laugh, you might cringe, but you definitely won’t be bored.
